We broke out in spontaneous dancing while listening to one of our favorite songs, Old Joe Clark.  We'll be running All School Morning Meeting and sharing our songs and talents this Friday at 8:00.  Come join us if you can!

Math Games At Home

A fun way to practice math skills at home is to play a game!  Today we were playing Guess My Number.  Using a 100's chart (available on the web or from school) students zero in on a number by asking questions.  

Example:  it the number greater than 50?  Is is less than 85?  Is it an odd number?   Record how many questions it takes before they "guess the number"!

Remembering Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

 

As we enjoy our long 3 day weekend, it's important to remember the reason for the holiday.

Nature Outside our Window

This morning we found some animal tracks right outside our window!  Whose could they be?  We hope they have been able to stay warm during this chilly weather.

Friday's Awesome Assembly

Officer Robinson of the Vermont State Police came in with his dog Sandy this morning to visit with the students.

Cool New Books Have Arrived!

Lily and Ella were caught exploring one of the cool new books that have just arrived in our classroom!  A view of the night sky is possible with this great book of constellations.  Just turn off the lights, turn on a flashlight and look up!

The Seaon of Giving

 Students have been working hard to give back to the community for the holiday season.  These origami stars, with positive messages for the season, are now displayed at the Underhill Country Store!  A shout out to Nancy and Peter Davis for allowing us to decorate the store!
